John Jung Canada's Technology Triangle Congratulations to Bill Hutchison, CATA and the many leaders from across Canada that have registered to be members of this Alliance and signed the i-Canada Declaration. It is absolutely sad that we have allowed our wonderful and globally-recognized telecommunications reputation to sink so far. We were once the envy of the world and we need to get there again. We need to invest in ultra high-speed broadband across the entire country (to every community no matter how big or small or how far away), train our citizens of all ages to excel as knowledge workers, provide opportunities for digital inclusion for everyone, encourage excellence through creativity and open innovation and ultimately create a culture of use that builds a revitalized demand. But mostly we need to get going! The world is now our competition and there is no excuse for us to continue to procrastinate when others are moving ahead so quickly and so far. For instance, Australians are spending $43 Billion on their National Broadband Network rollout. Where is our program for this country?
Sean Orman El Fresko Technologies Great initiative! It's important that we support Canadian technologies and entrepreneurs and innovators. Canada must be a leader that other countries look to model themselves after.
